Why I Do This Work

The more you give, the more you get.

That’s what you learned.

Work harder.
Prepare better.
Say yes.
Raise the standard.
Carry the responsibility.

And it worked.

You built a reputation.
You built credibility.
You built results.

You became the reliable one.
The strong one.
Trusted.
Relied on.

And it worked.

Until it didn’t.

Because the more capable you became, the more you were given.
The more you proved yourself, the more was expected.
The higher you climbed, the less room there was to drop anything.

From the outside, you are successful.
From the inside, you are stretched.

High standards become self-pressure.
Reliability becomes over-responsibility.

But you are strong.

You don’t collapse.

You cope.

You optimize.
You stay focused.
You keep delivering.

Saying yes before thinking.
Solving before delegating.
Absorbing before questioning.

It works.

Until it doesn’t.

I know this world because I lived inside it.

For over 17 years, I worked in international business environments, leading teams, navigating change, stepping into leadership roles that demanded clarity, resilience, and performance under pressure.

I know what it means to be promoted because you are capable - and then expected to stretch beyond what anyone prepared you for.

I know the pressure of holding targets, stakeholders, and team morale at the same time.

I know the loneliness of responsibility.

And I know how easy it is for high performers - especially thoughtful, conscientious, empathic leaders - to equate self-worth with output.

The system rewards results.
It does not reward boundaries.
It does not reward restraint.
It does not reward saying, this is enough.

The Turning Point

My life changed in ways no corporate training prepared me for.

I moved countries.
I became a single mother.
I rebuilt work and identity from the ground up.

There was no space left for autopilot.

I had to confront a hard truth:

You cannot build a sustainable life on chronic self-override.

You can build a career on it.
You can build reputation on it.
You can build status on it.

But not sustainability.

That realization became the foundation of my work. And of my new life.

Not stepping away from business.
Not escaping ambition.
But responding to it differently.

That is when Mindful in Action was born - not as an escape from business, but as a response to it.

Coaching that is grounded, not idealistic.
Coaching that sees you as a whole human being, not a performance machine.

Siedlisko Zmiana

Later, I bought a piece of land.

Siedlisko Zmiana is not a retreat from reality.
It is not a slow-living fantasy.

It is practice.

On that land, nothing grows faster because you push harder.

You prepare the soil.
You plant.
You protect.
You wait.

You cannot rush roots.
You cannot force growth by applying pressure.

Planting trees taught me something simple and uncomfortable:

Growth that is forced rarely lasts.

At Siedlisko, I plant trees.

In my coaching, I help leaders plant structures - boundaries, decision clarity, healthier patterns - that allow performance without depletion.

Both require patience.
Both require restraint.
Both require respecting limits instead of overriding them.

What I do now

Today, I combine 18+ years of business and leadership experience with professional coaching and applied mindfulness.

Not abstract calm.

Applied clarity.

After more than 2,000 hours of coaching conversations, one pattern is clear:

High performers do not struggle with competence.

They struggle with invisible patterns that once made them successful and now quietly exhaust them.

Perfectionism.
Overthinking.
Over-functioning.
People-pleasing disguised as dedication.
Internal pressure that never fully switches off.

You do not need to lower your standards.

You need to redefine strength.

Strength that allows you to say no without guilt.
To delegate without anxiety.
To lead without absorbing everything.
To succeed without sacrificing yourself.

This is not therapy.
And it is not motivational hype.

It is structured, strategic work grounded in real business experience and real life.

Because the more you give should not mean the more you deplete.

Because ambition should expand you, not compress you.

Because success should strengthen you - not cost you yourself.

That is why I do this work.

If you recognize yourself in this,
we can begin with one honest conversation.

No pressure.

No need to prove anything.

Just clarity.
